On 26 February 2010 we will have our party for the 5 birthday of the club! A long way has been walked - a long walk awaits us in the next years - show us your appreciation and support!

The tournament will be held on October 31st 2009 at the Air Sofia Golf Club in the town of Ihtiman (50 km from the centre of Sofia).  

The funds donated will be used to support the initiative for preventing child abandonment in Sofia as well as the initiative for vocational qualification and re-qualification of the relevant groups of the local population in the Municipality of Ihtiman.

Following the success of our Golf Tournament we have begun discussions with the Directors of the five orphanages where we will provide support to disabled orphans. For example one Director has identified an urgent need for a speech therapist for all the orphans in her care. Consequently we very much appreciate your support.

To raise further funds for the five orphanages we are organising the first ever Rotary Charity Burns Party which will be held at the Metropolitan Hotel, Sofia on the 27th February 2009.  

This year will be the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns and celebrations will be held around the world.
